As a Fine Arts student at Lasalle-College of the Arts, I spent my years familiarizing and exploring different techniques in painting as well as incorporating other mediums into my works; mediums that related to and appropriately paralleled my concept and notion of fate. I have always had an interest and have been quite fascinated by the idea that we are all one with the universe, that there is a destiny which awaits us all. I was particularly interested in the idea of Palmistry and being able to look at our past and our future. The lines on our hands can depict where we have come from and where we are headed, there is a deeper meaning other than what meets the eye. The lines on our palms and our lives intertwine in a way that we cannot comprehend.

As my interest in Palmistry grew so did my thirst for knowledge surrounding this concept. i eventually started reading on Universal Consciousness, and in fact realised that it closely relates not only to my works, but to a personal belief system. Throughout my years as a developing artist, i have had a keen interest in the anatomy of the human body. In particular, the hands and feet. My art and ideas keep bringing me back to the aesthetics and the texture of skin. There is something uniquely intriguing about the wrinkles and the lines that scale our body.
